What is the difference between attachment and file?

@Shumon, the File field is for a single file, while the Attachments field is for multiple files.

Hi Sara,

Thanks for your reply. Saves me building child table to hold more than one file per parent record. Instead, I can just add Attachment field into parent table to do that, right?
