Default security for pages

I know how to use the Security tab in the Page Designer to allow access to a page only to logged in users, and I also know how to redirect non-logged-in users to the login page.

But I want to do this for every page I create and I can’t figure out how. It seems to me it might be something one could do with the Layout, but no, there’s no Security tab for layouts. What am I missing?

You’re not missing anything, don’t worry. Security is page by page. In the future, we will have more global capabilities for stuff like this.
