Just saw this … this is amazing news …I’m thrilled to see this coming
That looks to me that it refers to uploaded files using the attachment field. But that’s just a guess. I don’t actually have that option mind you.
I do have this …I guess this will change after Nov 1
If you click ‘AWS S3’ option, you’ll see the regions for file storage options. The other option is regarding location of the sql server database (Oracle) as shown on your screenshot. Based on my limited understanding, if both, aws file storage and Oracle db are based in same region then both are within same jurisdiction
I use dropbox right now for file storage, so don’t want to change that
Not sure why Moe would announce severs in Ireland Australia if that options is still available and means what you suggest ???
I have been talking to him on and off for months re getting my data resident in EU.
If that did what you suggest I’m sure he would have told me.
Open to correction here of course
I use default for file storage, and i also use default database location. I don’t want to give am impression that I know what I am talking about, actually i havnt got a clue. what i said ealier was mostly to stimulate discussion, its a very big subject and its on the move all the time.
Im sure your version of what will be released is the correct one. im looking at it from different angles.
Hi @arthurbuy I’m in UK - as you say useful to know as others may come across similar issues and localised issues…
Hi Graham - Nice to “meet you”
Funny that most of Tadabase customers by far seems to be in the USA but over half of Tadabase partners listed are in the UK (or maybe the list is geolocating where I am based).
actually I think it’s a bug I noticed that before
@arthurbuy Hi Noel, updated list is attached below.
@SafetyUniversity Adam, which country are you from?
