Making basic design changes?

I am a huge fan of Tadabase and been a user since the early beta days. My entire company runs on 2 apps I built on Tadabase but I am now looking to customize more of the designs (and CSS I guess).

I must preface that I have no CSS or Javascript experience. Can someone point me to resources I can use to learn in order to make minor changes to the designs of my app.

Here are some examples of what I want to achieve.

  1. Change the fonts to something more modern
  2. Make minor changes such as changing background colors of menu bar
  3. Make a more appealing login screen
    etc…

sorry been so busy forgot to respond. thank you very much for this. CSS seemed a bit much but after short time I really learnt a lot enough to make many changes I needed. I see updates are coming for design which is good too.
