Predefined feature is not working

Hi all,

I have created an import feature and selected Predefined option in Record Matching section. Even though I selected column in Record matching field, when I upload the file it duplicates the record.

Please suggest how to resolve the issue

Is the matched field a connection field by any chance?

I tried setting up our existing Import Template to use a predefined mapping field. This produces a new dropdown, Record Matching Field, that I would expect to show a list from the template to select one but all it shows is a repeat of the 3 selections from the Record Matching dropdown. Is this expected? What does it imply - that the first mapping defined in the template will be used?
