Rollup Field Type: Add LATEST as a Formula Function option

My most common use case for the Rollup field would be to find the latest connected entry in a child table. It would be helpful to have that as a choice.

It would also be helpful to apply the Formula Function to one field but to display another field. For example, if the child table has a Name field and a Score field, return the Name that has the Maximum Value score.

+1 for this. I’ve also tried saving a date in the rolled up table… looking for “Max Value” for the date, and then using the Vertical lookup to match the Max date to the value… but it’s all a bit clunky.
