Automated Triggers

How do I setup automated notifications (sms + email) when a new record is created or when a specific value is selected?

USE CASE #1: A user enters a new request for PTO and the manager needs to review/approve it. I would like to trigger a SMS to the assigned manager to review the request and take an action.

USE CASE #2: A user updates a value in a specific field and it requires to send a notification to another user to review.

You can trigger Emails/SMS with Record Rules on Form Components (Add Record or Edit Record), Schedules Tasks, or through Action Links.
