Bug Bounty Program

I see a new page on the Tadabase.io site for a “Bug Bounty Program” (Bug Bounty Program | Tadabase). Looks like the page is blank. Any insight into what this will be?

Thanks for pointing that out! Security is a top priority for us at Tadabase, and we perform extensive penetration testing at least once annually to ensure our platform meets the highest security standards.

We did explore the idea of launching a Bug Bounty Program, but it quickly became overwhelming as it attracted a flood of low-quality submissions, turning into what we humorously referred to as “Beg Bounty.” Unfortunately, it ended up burdening our team with garbage more than helping improve security, so we decided to shut it down. It attracted hubdreds of people all reproting things like “i was able to add a script into the app.” We had to keep explaining that its a web app builder and that we allow that for our users. Sadly, no one read or followed the instructions we posted.

For now, we are focusing on more structured security initiatives, like our regular pentests and proactive monitoring. Well be removing that link from the footer.

Thank you for the detailed explanation—I really appreciate the transparency regarding your security practices and the challenges with the Bug Bounty Program. It’s great to hear that security is a top priority at Tadabase and that you’re focusing on structured initiatives like regular penetration testing and proactive monitoring. Those are definitely critical steps in maintaining a secure platform.

I understand how overwhelming a Bug Bounty Program can become, especially when the submissions don’t align with the platform’s intended functionality. It’s unfortunate that it attracted so many low-quality reports, but your decision to focus on more effective security measures makes sense.

Thanks for taking the time to address my feedback, and I appreciate you keeping security front and center. I look forward to seeing Tadabase continue to thrive with these efforts!
