Can't login to the admin section despite that I have admin role - bug?

Hi all,

I have registered myself as a User with an Admin role. Unfortunately, I cannot login to the admin part of my own app(!). I contacted support several times, but since the ticketing system is not working anymore I have received no response yet. So therefore I am posting this to the community.

A part of my app is the admin section. The security setting of this part is related to the layout, which only allows Users with an Admin Role. There is 1 user which has that role (ME:)).
I created a separate login page for admins, using the Magic Link/ Login component…
The Magic link which is sent is redirecting me to the Home page of the Admin section…
So all the routing is done for Admin’s only, but when using this route, I see a message that I am not authorised to view this section?

So my question is, is anybody having this setup as well to get a “admin” part of your app and is that working? Or can you share your setup which is working at this moment?

It’s pretty frustrating that I can’t see what I am building now, since I am being prevented to see it.

Regards

@Kristen Do you have any suggestions?

We’re redoing our entire support system, apologies about the bugs with it. Should be live over the weekend.

Can you email support@tadabase.io the details and a way for us to replicate? Our email has never been an issue and is working fine, just the chat and Freshdesk is what we’re in the process of rebuilding. I just verified and there are no emails from you sent to support.

Always contact tech support before coming here, @slimpens - we are all users here, although Moe and the team sometimes pop in to help, this is not the best channel for specific tech support issues.

If support chat isn’t working, email support @ tadabase .io

@Kristen

I agree that the forum is not the place for this issue, but since the Freshdesk is down and previous e-mails weren’t followed up, I had to post something here.
I will get in touch directly with support (again) and @moe

@moe :slight_smile: I forwarded my e-mail to both support and moe (at) tadabase.io today at (GMT+1) 02-01-2025, 20:29 to outline the issue that I have and described the best way for you to replicate it.
