Unfortunately I can’t seem to get beyond first line of support and so no one is looking into this - so if you’re having this problem, please comment and help me get this noticed by an engineer.
I have equations that work inconsistently - the math will run for say 8 out of 10 records. Same conditions, same formula, it just won’t run for a record. I have to manually catch this error and ensure some sort of additional update to the record to get the equation to calculate.
I have text formulas that work inconsistently - same issue as above. Same method of record creation (doesn’t matter if form or API), same rules, same data entry - yet about 10-20% of records just don’t populate the text formula in the database.
Data table rules - sometimes the rules don’t trigger. Same method of creation, same rules, same conditions; yet they just don’t run.
This appears to be some sort of server level issue where triggers are being missed. I have to imagine this isn’t just me and if you rely on data accuracy (don’t we all?), then the consequences are massive. Especially if you don’t realize this is happening…
The final issue, which I noticed someone here reported back on May 3, are equations/counts/etc that just stop working completely until you open the field in the builder and re-save it in order to reactivate it.
None of these issues are sustainable. Help!
