When navigating through a data list or table with many records and/or pages, I’d like to be able to retain my position or search parameters after clicking into a detail record and then navigating back.
For example, I use a search component to find a value in a data table. When the results appear, I click into a detail record. If I click the back button in my browser, I am brought back to the previous page, but any pagination and/or search parameters are wiped.
Ideally, I’d like the browser to take me back to where I was just prior to clicking into the detail record.
