Has anybody here setup links to a local folder/network drive in their app?
Using a link structure like file:///C:/users/me/Documents/Customers/ works in both Chrome and Firefox if entered directly into the browser’s address bar but it does not work when setup as a link in app.

I also tried, then I gave up, I needed it to connect to the local DropBox folder.
I have tried with both Mac and Windows but it doesn’t work.
Dropbox folders should work as long as they have sharing permissions set.
From the browser it does not open the local folder, I also asked the assistance but it seems an impediment or a safety function of browsers with apps.
That’s what I’ve discovered too. When a local file/folder is linked via HTML, browsers won’t open it.
