To save unnecessary navigation for my users, I’m finding that instead of having both a “Details” page as well as an “Edit” page for every record, I’m frequently using the Edit page and describing it as both – i.e. “View/Edit Record”.
The user can view a record in the Edit page and if they need to make a change, they don’t need to back out from a Details page and go find the Edit button/link.
One issue with this workflow is that on an Edit page attachments are displayed as thumbnails and cannot be clicked and viewed full-size.
Would it be possible to add this functionality to attachments in the edit page?
