Good day!
I’m coming up short with a way to automatically pass the value of a text field on the user table into a connected field, also on the user table, to effectively join the user with another table that shares the same value.
After trying this several different ways, I eventually came across the Field Plucker Pipe which seemed like it should be up to the task. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get it to work. I’m not sure whether my configuration is wrong or perhaps there is altogether a different way I should be approaching this.
Any guidance from the community would be most appreciated.

Welcome @JEllery to the TB Community!
Try the following:
- All Values should be the connection field.
- Value to Add is the field that that contains the value you desire to add to the connection field.
- Set the pipe response to “New Values” instead of Added.
The plucker pipe is a great tool but does require a bit of trial and error to get it to work.
Adam,
Thanks for your response and the welcome message!
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get the pipe to work, so I ended up having to go the Zapier route. All caveats with that approach aside, I suppose it works well enough. Seems a shame to have to go the third party route when this should be easily accomplished within Tada but I’m new to the platform and still getting my bearings. My guess is that I’m missing something that a more experienced user would be able to solve with little effort within Tada.
Again, big thanks to you, sir.
