Reccurent intense slowness?

Anybody experiences major slowness during in the last weeks?

It now often took more than 60 seconds to load/save any page or database, which is quite annoying and impact development speed (and my customers experience as well).

Support says they don’t see anything unusual, but it’s becoming more and more heavy to work with… My main app is just a couple thousands of records, so nothing major.

Anybody?

I’m noticing the same thing and for me its mainly between 2-4 pm us central time. Happens on both the builder and live app. Saving a form or switching pages will take a lot longer that usual during this time frame. I’ve tried deleteing cookies, cache, etc but it doesn’t make any difference

I’ve been seeing similar behavior over the past few days.

In my case, record deletions have been queuing and taking hours to actually process. I’ve also run into situations where deleting fields from tables simply wouldn’t complete. They just sat there pending. I ended up leaving those fields in place for now and planning to clean them up later.

So you’re definitely not alone. It doesn’t seem tied to app size either, since my setup isn’t particularly large.

Same deleting records now seems to batched, but the batches do not run. Right now I have no way to delete more than one record at a time.

We’re experiencing similar issues.

On the user side (live app only), saving records has become noticeably slower, with some page load degradation as well. This hasn’t been typical behavior for us.

More concerning, we’re also seeing operational inconsistencies:

  • Scheduled tasks remain pending without completing or failing.

  • Older text formula fields are no longer updating reliably, which directly affects data accuracy.

  • Record deletions appear to batch but don’t consistently process.

Taken together, this feels broader than an isolated app issue. We would really appreciate clearer communication, more consistent updates, and guidance on whether platform-level performance or processing issues are being investigated.

At the moment, it’s difficult to confidently support our own users without better visibility from the platform side.

Hello,

I am experiencing the same issues over the last week… But today, I cannot navigate in the app due to the slowness. My users have a bad experience.. I already filed a support message.

Yes, this systemic slowness seems to creep on alll the functions more and more, not just the UI, but everything backend too.

I share with @andrewm89 this concerns about long term reliability and my confidence to propose TD as a business grade solution; I can’t recall paying that high price point for such a buggy tool in the last +15 years.

This should be at least addressed with more transparency by the support. I submit tickets almost on a daily basis and often have a generic response hours later saying they will look into this. Everytime for the past months, always the same answer that they did not find anything wrong, just wash it away, and close the ticket without regards if I, the cu$tomer (and the hundreds of app users!), still experience the issue…

I’m not looking to rant here, but every Tuesday, it’s becoming more and more frustrating to see all those nice roadmaps and new features, while basic and core functions are not stable at all for multi-thousands dollars enterprise tool.

Same problem this AM - 1 of 3 production apps has ground to a halt and essentially unusable this AM. Not sure what to do? We have clients that need access and the system is essentially down?

Agreed that core functionality has to get stabilized here. Can’t have my production apps down - this is how I make a living.

Hi everyone,

Quick update regarding the recent reports of app slowness.

Our team identified a few database clusters that were contributing to the issue. These have now been patched and performance should be back to normal.

Please keep an eye on your apps and let us know if you are still experiencing any delays so we can investigate further.

Thanks for your patience while we worked through this.

I just made a small update to a page that displays a data table. It took 2:14:21 minutes from when I pressed save, to when the spinner stopped. So there are still problems.

@Co1in
Same here, when pages are updating (sometimes even just 2 form values) I receive an error message to contact support.

the issue is still here..
it’s now 13.30 European Time (Paris zone), and I can’t edit my pages without that the builder crashes..

Hi @slimpens, I’ve noticed different browsers behave quite differently. Firefox seems to be the most affected. When I switch to Brave or Vivaldi the app runs a little better, not much, but at least it doesn’t crash.

Hopefully Tadabase can give us an update soon. I try not to give support a hard time; we all know how tough it is looking after customers. But when an issue drags on and there is very little communication, it really starts to test people’s patience.

Hi,
i am in contact with support, but the issue is still here. Builder is not loading or crashing. I am using Chrome. I already re-structured my app (splitting record rules over different forms instead of a thread of record rules).
I was planning to have these tasks finished by 11AM this morning, but I am still not finished, since it’s crashing all the time, so I have to start over again all the time..
