Sorting connected records in dropdowns

Hello,

Has anyone figured out how connected records could be sorted in a specific way (or alphabetically) in dropdowns in forms, inline editing, or search component? It is quite annoying to list through randomly presented information to find a specific record to connect to ( I know searching is possible but sometimes you do not know exactly what you are looking for).

If you change the default sort option on the connected table in the data builder, that should sort the connected table everywhere (Except the filter feature, which is a bug).
