Task to store current count

I would like an automated task to store the current value of a complex formula (sum a connected field) to a connected table (like a daily history) but when I try to create it, my complex fields aren’t available as a field to store.

Any ideas how I could get this working?

You can try to copy the complex formula field to a static field with a rule and then use the static field for your calculation.
