Tuesdays with Tadabase - January 28th 2025

:hatching_chick: :world_map: The final Tuesday of January is knocking and our team is huddled together and plotting our next move. Here’s what we’ve hatched this week:

:toolbox: Our engineers have:

:art: Pushing several UI and UX improvements in the builder including:

  • Moved the ‘Add this data to your app’ button to the bottom on data builder.
  • Fixed the left panel search box position.
  • Minor UI improvements for quick add options.

:bug:Fixed some pesky bugs:

  • Fixed issue with created_at field from the API being updated unnecessarily.
  • Fixed issue with decimal places in equations requiring to be saved as strings.
  • Fixed issue with blank screen when logging in with a wrong password.

For a complete list of fixes, see our release notes.

:clapper: Behind the Scenes:

A big thanks to our partners for all the great feedback about the field auditor tool! We’re implementing some of the feedback to make it easier to audit fields on a field level within the data builder. Coming soon: you’ll be able to click on any field in the data builder and get the same audit capabilities to know exactly where the field is being used across your app.

:hook: Webhook updates:

  • Auto-complete- When configuring webhooks the available options will now appear as a dropdown to make mapping the values easier and less susceptible to errors.

:fishing_pole_and_fish: Many other minor updates for webhooks, including:

  • See last activity on the webhook page.
  • Navigation updates. :compass:
  • Ability to re-run a webhook.
  • Set up auto complete for multi-step webhooks.
  • Fix for uploads in files when multi-step is being used.

We have many other updates that we’ll be showing off in the coming weeks that are quite significant and will take some time.

  1. New Equation Editor. :heavy_division_sign:
  2. Full AI capabilities. :robot:
  3. New Import from CSV, other apps and more. Even trigger these imports on a schedule.
  4. New Data Grid. :bar_chart:

These are all in the works by different parts of our dev team and we’re making great progress.

:jigsaw: New Plugin: Dynamic Progress Bar
Enhance data tables and lists by dynamically replacing numeric values with customizable progress bars, supporting multiple styles and optional value visibility.

Designed for seamless integration with Tadabase components, it automatically detects the presence of data tables or lists and renders progress bars dynamically, enhancing data visualization and user experience.

:supervillain: :heavy_check_mark: Mission accomplished on this one, Tadabasers. Happy building and see you next week! :checkered_flag:
