Tuesdays with Tadabase - June 23rd 2026

:desert_island: :sunrise:The summer solstice has come and gone, and the final week of June is blazing by. Let’s gather ‘round and see what our team has been cooking up. :fire:

:toolbox:Our engineers have made:

:repeat_button: Workflow Updates:

We’ve continued making improvements to Workflows focused on making them more reliable and easier to configure.

:puzzle_piece: Composite Field Support
Composite fields now work correctly throughout workflows, including condition filters and field mapping, making it easier to work with fields like Name and Address without additional workarounds.

:link: Smarter Connected Field Validation
When a workflow attempts to pull a value across multiple connection levels at once, we’ll now let you know and guide you toward using a Lookup Records step instead. This helps prevent configuration issues and makes troubleshooting much easier.

:locked_with_key: API & Security Updates:

We’ve added several new API and security enhancements focused on improving visibility, security, and overall API usability.

:high_voltage: New API Endpoints:
Added endpoints for Workflow Logs, Active Sessions (including the ability to terminate sessions), and File Logs (including file deletion).

:shield: Import & Export Security:
Import and Export operations now fully respect Row Level Security policies. If a user’s policy does not allow access, the API will automatically block the request.

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: Simplified API Endpoints
We’ve added shorter aliases for connected and related record endpoints while maintaining compatibility with existing API paths.

:bug: Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Decision Box settings not saving correctly when editing Checkbox, Dropdown, and Radio Button variants.
  • Fixed search results for Name, Address, and Multi Select fields in certain scenarios.
  • Fixed API file exports downloading with incorrect filenames.
  • Fixed an underlying issue that could affect record saving.

For a complete list of fixes, see our release notes here.

:oden: And with that, we’ll let the embers cool, Tadabasers. Happy building and see you next week! :firecracker:
