March is here and spring is around the corner. With that we bring you this budding update. Let’s count the petals together.
Our engineers have:
Added lots of advanced updates to search and filtering and webhooks. These include–
Webhook Updates
Incoming Email Catcher
We’re excited to introduce the Incoming Email Catcher, a powerful feature that allows you to forward emails to a designated subdomain and have the email content and attachments automatically added to your app as new records.
Key Use Cases:
- Automatically capture email replies by including the record ID in the “Reply To” address, ensuring all relevant responses are added to your app.
- Forward emails from your inbox to instantly create new records in your app, streamlining your data entry process.
- Effortlessly capture leads directly from your email, transforming inbound inquiries into actionable records.
Webhook Folders:
You can now create and organize your webhooks into folders to keep them organized.
Updates to Search Component
Filters on connection fields in search:
We’ve made it even easier to refine your search results with the ability to apply filters to connection fields. Now, you can apply the same filtering options available in forms to connection fields within search components.
For example, you can filter a dropdown to only show records where the Status is set to Active, making it quicker and easier to find the exact information you need.
Dependent Dropdown in Search Filters:
Enhance your search filters with dependent dropdowns when you have multiple connection fields within a single search component. This means you can filter results based on the value of another field, streamlining the search process and improving usability.
For example, when searching for services performed on a car, you can first select the Make and then automatically filter the Model dropdown to show only relevant options, helping you narrow down results quickly and efficiently. This feature simplifies complex searches, saving time and improving accuracy.
Limit company:
This advanced search feature allows you to limit results based on connections shared with the user. For example, if a user is connected to a company, only companies that the user belongs to will be shown.
This is different from traditional filters where a company is assigned to a user, offering a more personalized and relevant search experience by restricting results to those directly linked to the user’s connections.
New Record Rule condition:
We’ve added a new condition in Record Rules that lets you define actions based on specific field changes. With this update, you can set rules that trigger only when a field is changed from one value to another. The rule will only run the first time the value changes according to your defined condition, offering more precise control over when actions are executed.
These features are currently in the works and will be rolled out in the coming weeks on all subscription plans.
