Workflow Updates:
We’ve continued making major improvements to Workflows, making automations more reliable, easier to monitor, and simpler to troubleshoot.
Smarter Workflow Chaining:
Workflows are now smarter about how they trigger each other. A single user action will only trigger each workflow once, helping prevent unintended loops while giving you more control with a new per action Trigger Other Workflows setting.
Enhanced Workflow History:
Workflow History has been rebuilt with a cleaner interface, real time updates, and improved performance. You can also see exactly what triggered each workflow run, making it much easier to trace and debug your automations.
Records, Data Tables & Forms:
We’ve added several enhancements to improve the app building experience.
Form Builder Improvements:
Connected fields now display their source table and field name directly in the Form Builder, making it easier to understand where your data is coming from.
More Chart Support:
Equation fields can now be used when grouping data in Charts, giving you even more flexibility when building reports and dashboards.
Loading Indicators:
A new Show Loading Indicator option is now available for action links in Data Tables, Lists, and Universal Components, providing clearer feedback while actions are running.
We’ve also resolved a number of issues affecting imports and exports, PDF Pages, merge tags, component refreshes, secured file downloads, and timezone handling.
API & Security Updates:
We’ve continued strengthening both the platform and API security.
Field level Record Level Security is now consistently enforced across Detail API endpoints, blurred field values remain securely on the server, and SSO authentication has been improved for browsers with stricter security settings.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed the delete_record webhook not firing when records were deleted through the API.
- Fixed Incoming Webhook workflow trigger switching and improved the Require Header Signature toggle behavior.
- Fixed components not refreshing after adding, updating, or deleting records.
- Fixed Date/Time and Decision Box fields exporting and importing correctly in Import/Export Templates.
- Fixed merge tags not resolving in HTML and PDF components when field names contained consecutive spaces.
- Fixed Time field conditions displaying blank or incorrectly formatted values.
- Fixed empty record lists when batch updating connection fields.
- Fixed secured file downloads on Universal Component Details pages.
- Fixed PDF Pages resolving Table and Layout references incorrectly.
- Fixed PDF Page type (List/Detail) not saving correctly.
- Fixed SSO sign in fallback for browsers with strict popup security settings.
- Fixed masked and blurred fields rendering incorrectly across generated apps.
- Fixed build steps reverting to “processing” after page refreshes.
- Fixed abandoned build steps displaying as completed instead of canceled.
- Fixed Build Summary displaying incorrect step counts and build duration.
- Fixed “Usage by App” showing the same prompt for every chat message.
- Fixed rollup and formula fields in generated apps supporting only the Equals filter operator.
- Fixed newly created managed apps that could crash on load.
