All aboard! The Tuesday’s Tadabase train is at the station, hop on ‘cause we’re moving full steam ahead.
Before today’s train leaves the station, we’re sharing a quick safety precaution: a few features and updates we recently shared are still enroute. This delay is intentional, our team is doing deep testing and QA to make sure every release arrives safely and runs smoothly. These are big upgrades, so we’re taking extra care on the tracks. Trust us, the next stops are worth the wait! ![]()
Our engineers have shared:
Importer Updates:
Decision Box Field Handling: Added handling Decision Box fields during CSV imports, ensuring values are imported and mapped correctly.
API Tracking:
We’re introducing a new API Tracking Dashboard, giving you clear visibility into all API activity. You can now monitor requests in real time, review response details, identify errors quickly, and better understand how your app is interacting with external systems.
Our next stop is –
Loading Spinner Updates:
We understand that some forms take time to process, and even with optimizations, waiting on a simple loading spinner can feel painful for users. To improve this experience, we’re introducing advanced loading animations that you can fully customize, including the ability to display helpful messages that explain what’s happening behind the scenes.
You can create multiple spinner styles and choose, on a per-form basis, which animation to use.
Here’s an example of this in action
:

When setting up a spinner, you can choose from multiple styles, such as:
Within each style, you can set custom messages and control how long each message stays visible. While these messages may not reflect the exact technical steps happening behind the scenes, they’re designed to make the user experience more thoughtful, informative, and delightful during longer load times.
Tracking DST for tasks:
We’re adding support for Daylight Saving Time (DST) tracking in scheduled tasks. This ensures tasks run at the correct time throughout the year, even when clocks shift forward or back.
If you are based in the USA and notice your tasks are running an hour early, simply adjust the time and save the task again, it will run at the correct time going forward.
Our final stop is —
Connected Values in Pipes for Tasks:
Tasks will soon support connected values inside pipes, allowing you to pull in and reference related record data when running automated task processes.
This works similarly to how connected values function in Forms, and now those same capabilities are being extended to Scheduled Tasks as well.
The whistle’s blown – time to disembark, Tadabasers. Happy building, and be sure to return next week aboard the Tadabase Express. ![]()
